About Amber

Amber Lynn Eberhardt is the owner and therapist at The Root of Healing LLC and a dually licensed clinician with over fifteen years of experience helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered in the mental health journey. She moved to Eastern Washington to pursue degrees in psychology, social work, and addiction, and has since built a career grounded in trauma-informed care, clinical leadership, and therapist development.
Amber provides affirming, inclusive, and judgment-free care where clients can show up as their authentic selves. She believes deeply in the importance of feeling seen, heard, and understood, and works collaboratively with clients to explore their experiences and create meaningful, personalized healing plans.
Her approach integrates evidence-based modalities including EMDR, ERP, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and somatic-based practices. She specializes in trauma, obsessive compulsive disorders, co-occurring disorders, life transitions, general mental health, sexual health, and self-acceptance with a strong passion for supporting women through various life stages, particularly in areas of identity, sexuality, and healing from shame.
Amber’s work is rooted in attachment, developmental, cognitive, somatic, and trauma-informed theories, recognizing that each person’s experiences are shaped by their unique life story and context. She is guided by the belief that healing is always possible, captured in her mantra: “Every passing minute is another chance to turn it around.”
Outside of her practice, Amber enjoys rock climbing, yoga, cycling, and exploring the Pacific Northwest, along with travel, music, and creative self-expression. She also spends much of her time with her cats, who bring her joy and grounding.
